OFFICE VISITS (ADULTS, AGE 13 and OVER)

Initial Visit: $250

(90 minutes: includes medical history, consultation, exam, acupuncture treatment and herbal consultation, if appropriate)

Follow-Up Visit: $95

(60 minutes, once per week or less frequently; includes consultation, exam, acupuncture treatment, herbal consultation, nutritional consultation, other modalities as needed per discretion of the acupuncturist)

Follow-Up Visit ( twice weekly on a regular plan of care): $65

Fire Cupping: $65

Tuina: $ 45

Nutritional Consultation Only (Existing Patient): $75

Brief Re-Exam, Herbal Consultation Only/Sick Visit (15minutes): $75

Please Note that all patients under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

OFFICE VISITS (CHILDREN UNDER AGE 12)

Initial Visit (60 minutes: includes medical history, consultation, exam, acupuncture treatment and herbal consultation, if appropriate): $150

Follow-Up Visit (30 minutes: consultation, exam, acupuncture treatment and herbal or nutritional consultation): $65

Brief Re-Exam, Herbal Consultation Only (15 minutes): $45

Please Note that all patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

FORMS OF PAYMENT

We accept all major credit cards, checks, cash. Bounced checks are subjected to $50 fee

INSURANCE

Payment in full is due at the time of service. We are not a contracted provider with any insurance companies, and we no longer direct-bill for insurance, but if you have a PPO plan, we can give you a super-bill with the necessary codes, which you can send into your insurance company for reimbursement if your plan covers Acupuncture. (HMO plans do not reimburse you for superbills.) If you would like to know if your health insurance plan covers acupuncture, call the Member Services phone number listed on the back of your insurance card and ask for a "Quotation of Benefits for acupuncture from a non-participating (a.k.a. out-of-network) provider."

CANCELLATION POLICY

We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel an appointment. Contact us via phone 949.542.9273 or email: info@southocacupuncture.com. If you cancel with less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment (see above), you will be billed in full. We appreciate your understanding.

ARRIVING ON TIME

At South OC Acupuncture, we do our best to run on time. We are a small practice, providing one-on-one care. We respect your time; please respect ours.

San Juan Capistrano traffic becomes heavily congested during rush hour, PLEASE allow extra time to arrive at our office if your appointment falls during 

( 4-7 pm).

New patients, please arrive at least 15 minutes before your schedule appointment time

Follow-up patients, please arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time, so that you can use the bathroom, have a cup of tea, or relax for a few minutes after driving.

We want you to get the full benefit of your appointment, and if you are late, you won’t have as long to relax with the needles or as much time to ask questions of your acupuncturist.

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment time, we may not be able to treat you (there will not be time for a thorough exam and acupuncture treatment) and you will be charged in full for the appointment. (Of course, emergencies happen, but please do your best to arrive on time.)
